Cerelac Duchess Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 50g of Cerelac Wheat (1 sachet)- mixed with 150ml lukewarm water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • A pinch of nutmeg powder
  • Very little black pepper and seed powder  1 egg yolk
Step by step
  • Preparation

    • Boil peeled sweet potato till tender
    • When potatoes are ready, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in pan and set aside
    • Put cooked potato in a bowl and mash. Add remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and premixed CERELAC® and continue mashing. Then add nutmeg, black pepper powder and egg yolk. Mash a little more
    • Pre heat oven to 425 F (220 C)
    • Pipe the potatoes onto a cookie sheet using a piping bag with a large star point
    • Brush the potatoes with the melted butter. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until nicely browned
